INGREDIENTS:
1 organic lemon, 2 cl
10 - 15 basil leaves
100 ml water
100 g sugar
6 cl Gin
Ice cubes as desired
PREPARATION
Simmer 100 ml water with 100 g sugar for about 15 minutes over medium heat to make simple syrup, then let it cool. Next, crush about 10–15 basil leaves together with 2 cl of the simple syrup using the CRUSH mortar and transfer it into a shaker. Add 2 cl of freshly squeezed lemon juice and 6 cl of gin, and shake well. Strain the drink through a bar strainer or a fine kitchen sieve into a glass filled with ice cubes. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
